Theo thinks something is wrong with him. His therapist thinks heβs just sensitive. Cape Town has other ideas.
When a broken jacket sends Theo into the city on a seemingly harmless errand, his day quickly unravels into a chaotic mess of gaslighting, suspicion and misplaced confidence. Everyone seems certain about who Theo is β except Theo himself.
As things spiral further out of control, Theo begins to realise that what he calls bad juju might simply be the everyday reality of navigating Cape Town.
