Manu Zilveti

Still: Miss You Perdularia

Manu Zilveti is a Brazilian filmmaker and director whose work explores identity, displacement and the complex experience of not fully belonging. Coming from a Bolivian immigrant family, her filmmaking is deeply influenced by questions of migration, cultural identity and the search for a sense of home.

She directed There’s no seas in this town (2024), which was selected for the 46th Moscow International Film Festival, followed by Miss you Perdularia (2025), which was selected for the Sundance Film Festival.

Zilveti is currently studying at the International Film and Television School (EICTV) in Cuba, where she continues to develop her filmmaking practice and distinctive creative voice.

Through intimate and personal storytelling, her work reflects on the spaces between cultures and the emotional complexities of belonging, bringing her own lived experience and perspective to the screen.
