Jason Adam Maselle is a Johannesburg-born filmmaker based in New York. A graduate of NYU Tisch, his award-winning work—including the Spike Lee–produced PUNTER—explores themes of grief, love, and moral complexity. His films have screened on HBO Max and at Oscar-qualifying festivals. A recipient of multiple scholarships and awards, Jason remains driven by storytelling that’s both deeply South African and universally human.
