Gabriella Blumberg is a SAFTA-winning South African Director and Producer known for her compelling and impactful storytelling. She produced the award-winning feature documentary “I Am Here” (2021) and the Afrikaans short film “Leemtes en Leegheid (A Void)” (2021). Gabriella received the International Alumni of the Year Award at the PIEoneer Awards (2022) in London for her success as a graduate of the MET Film School Masters programme. Representing The University of Witwatersrand at The International Filmmaking Academy in Bologna (2016), she achieved international acclaim at festivals worldwide. Gabriella has extensively worked in the Breast Health space, directing and producing short films like “Near not Far” (2019), which prompted the South African Government to establish a breast cancer screening unit in Mpumalanga. Her television adverts on breast health aired on 200 DSTV slots in 2021 and 2022.
